Outfit images are the core of Arina Edit, so we are strict about where they come from.
Where our images come from
- Original photography created for Arina Edit (preferred).
- Commissioned or licensed creator photography, used only with written permission that covers our website and social channels.
- Properly licensed stock images, under the terms of the licence.
- Graphics we create, such as diagrams and illustrations.
What we never do
- Copy or re-upload images from Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, other publishers or brands without permission.
- Treat a photo credit as a substitute for permission.
- Present AI-generated photorealistic people as genuine outfit photography.
How we document rights
For every image we record its source, creator, licence or permission, where we may use it (including Pinterest), the date acquired and the article it appears in.
Stock photos
While we build our own photo library, some guides use licensed stock photos. We only use a stock photo when it accurately shows the outfit we describe, and the outfit formula lists only what is visible in the photo. If we cannot find an accurate photo, we describe the idea as a text-only outfit formula instead. People shown in stock photos are not endorsing Arina Edit or any product. We replace stock photos with our own photography over time.
Credits
Licensed creator photos are credited where the creator or licence asks for it. Stock photos are credited in the image caption with a link to the original, even when the licence does not require it.
